As part of Kay Jewelers 100th anniversary celebration, the social media team asked us to come up with some creative ideas for a new promotion. We decided to focus on real people and honest emotions with an added element of surprise.
Executive leadership at Kay called the video a "Pivotal moment for the brand, "causing a major shift in the approach to branding and marketing for Kay Jeweler. The ad was also named " Jewelry promotion of the year" by a leading trade publication - in a top ten list that included other top brands like Tiffany & Co, Pandora, and Montblanc. Shortly after, it would be upgraded to "Jewelry Ad of the decade."
